Yerevan is Absolutely Gorgeous At Night : My Favorite #Nofiltertravel Night Photos of Armenia's Capital

I think I can say without a doubt that Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, is one of the most gorgeous looking cities by night. I mean, it's beautiful by day too but by night it's even more good looking. In my own opinion, I think it is  just as beautiful as any European capital.

DISCOVERING MY FIRST 'STAN : TASHKENT IN UZBEKISTAN

DISCOVERING MY FIRST 'STAN : TASHKENT IN UZEBEKISTAN

Welcome to the third and final part of my Uzbekistan posts! Tashkent  is the capital and the last city we stayed at,and also where we flew in and out of . Tashkent is a huge and really modern city. I didn't really get to experience if they had any nightlife or get to stroll around the center or anything like that but like Bukhara and Samarkand, Tashkent is still filled with lots of historical buildings and beautiful picturesque blue domes and towers. Lots of picture perfect sites, especially when you combine it with the cloudless blue sky! Check out the photos below!

DISCOVERING MY FIRST 'STAN : SAMARKAND, UZBEKISTAN

Welcome to part two of my Uzbekistan adventure! If you missed the first part, please check it out HERE. The first part was all about the Bukhara. This post is all about the second city that we visited, and this was the ancient city of Samarkand.

DISCOVERING MY FIRST 'STAN : BUKHARA , UZBEKISTAN

A few months ago I took a trip to Uzbekistan with my family. I know, I know, it took me sooo long to write about it here - forgive me for that but as the cliché saying goes, better late than never right? Anyway, Uzbekistan. This country is located in Central Asia - bordered by Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgystan, Tajikistan and Afghanistan ( lots of 'tan countries!). It was my first time to visit any country in Central Asia.  I will be doing my Uzbekistan posts in three parts. Since we visited three cities in all (Tashkent, Bukhara and Samarkand), I will be doing one city per post. Today's post will be all about Bukhara. P.S. This a really, really, reaaaallly long post with lots and loooots of photos! Click through after the jump if you're still interested! (I also have an article on this in our local newspaper, a very short version of what I'm going to put up here on the blog. It's up online if you want to check that out)

2 Days in Zambales, Philippines

*This Post originally appeared on my old lifestyle blog Style and Chocolates, a couple of years ago. This blog post has a few modifications to the text and is being transferred here permanently.

Its' already been several months since this beach trip (ok, I lied, it's been a LOT of months since, to tell you guys the truth :o) but I'm glad I'm finally able to write and feature it here for Travel Tuesday. Zambales is a beach that's about 4 or five hours away from the capital, Manila, in the Philippines. It is also a jump off point to go island hopping to nearby islands, Anawangin Cove, which is a well known place for campers, Capones and Camara island.

Exploring Old Manila, Philippines

Exploring Old Manila, Philippines

I can safely  say that I have been to at least 40+ countries in my lifetime but I am ashamed to say that I have not traveled around my own country as much as that.  There are so many places all over the Philippines that I have yet to explore and discover. I mean, I've already known all along that my country has the most amazing beaches and magnificent nature spots. I always used to think that it is only known for just these kinds of spots and that we don't really have any old buildings and palaces and monasteries like other countries do. Last Weekend, my sisters and I decided to hire a car and a driver and tour Old Manila, which is the  oldest part of our capital. I was pretty surprised to see that we also had our own kind of old cultural spots that had nothing to do with beaches!

ThrowBack Travel : Nepal

*This Post originally appeared on my old lifestyle blog Style and Chocolates, a couple of years ago. This blog post has a few modifications to the text and is being transferred here permanently.

It's already been years since I went to Nepal with my family. I still haven't gotten over the trip, I also have not gotten the chance to write about it here thus I've placed it under the Throwback Travel Thursday Category.

Nepal is one incredible country. As some of you may or may not know, it is home to some of the most famous and highest mountains in the world. It is abundant in nature and also in culture.
